NANCY SHAPIRO
Award-winning artist, Nancy Shapiro, balances parallel careers as a fine artist, graphic designer and creator of an exuberant, whimsical line of jewelry called HappyBracelets. Born in Brooklyn, Nancy received her BFA from Boston University and established her own package and graphic design firm in New York City, serving such clients as Clinique and Estee Lauder. Her fine art monotypes, paintings and sculptures have been exhibited throughout the US and can be found in many distinguished private collections, including those of Margrit Biever Mondavi, Bill and Melinda Gates, and Rene di Rosa. Her successful HappyBracelets business began when friends and strangers alike began admiring the ones she made herself. There was many a time when people bought them right off her wrist! Each bracelet is comprised of new and vintage beads and buttons in a unique and lively design. We are happy to offer a new style every few months.
